Day 1: Los Angeles

Today, you'll meet your tour guide at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
Domestic flight arrivals: gather at the baggage claim area.
International arrivals: meet at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.
Your guide will then escort you to the hotel for check-in.

Day 2: Los Angeles - Monterey - San Jose (370 miles)

Experience the breathtaking beauty of the famous 17-Mile Drive. You'll stop at the newly renovated Pebble Beach, where you can soak in stunning ocean views. Along the way, watch for adorable seals lounging on the beaches. This scenic coastal journey ends as you make your way to San Jose.

Monterey was the capital of Alta California under both Spain and Mexico. It was the only port of entry for taxable goods in California. In 1846 the U.S. flag was raised over the Customs House, and California became part of the United States after the ensuing Mexican-American War.
